Revo 3 SDK v2.x developer guides
Documentation series 2.xCurrent release 2.1.2Stable release
These guides are organized by task and do not redefine API signatures:
- Discover and connect devices
- Motion control
- State, subscriptions, and real-time control
- Touch data
- Configuration, calibration, and maintenance
- Error handling and recovery
Complete the Quick Start first. Use the API navigation to find interfaces by domain and the complete API manual for exact signatures.
Example index
The 2.x examples are grouped by read-only behavior, explicit motion, and device-state changes. Run each entry with --help before hardware use.
| Task | Python | C/C++ | Default risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discovery | discover_devices.py | discover_devices.cpp | Read-only |
| Connection and state | quickstart.py | quickstart.cpp | Read-only |
| Multiple hands | multi_hand.py | multi_hand.cpp | Check help |
| Subscriptions | subscriptions.py | subscriptions.cpp | Read-only |
| Streaming control | streaming_control.py | streaming_control.cpp | Explicit motion |
| Trajectory motion | trajectory_control.py | mit_plan.cpp | Explicit motion required |
| Touch | touch_sensor.py / touch_hybrid.py | touch_sensor.cpp / touch_hybrid.cpp | Reads; some flags alter mode or calibration |
| Teaching and replay | teaching_mode.py | teaching_mode.cpp | Changes state and may move |
| Device operations | device_operations.py | device_operations.cpp | May configure or reboot |
| Firmware update | firmware_update.py | firmware_update.cpp | Changes firmware |
Engineering scripts under diagnostics/ are outside the onboarding path. Confirm model, firmware, workspace clearance, and recovery procedure before running any hardware-changing example.
